Since 2009, Safe Work Australia has led a national campaign each October to build community awareness and knowledge of work health and safety. National Safe Work Month is hugely popular and provides a great platform to promote WHS and encourage everyone to work towards healthier, safer workplaces.

We’re excited to share the theme for National Safe Work Month 2023For everyone’s safety, work safely.

“This is my second year of working on the National Safe Work Month campaign, October is an exciting and extremely busy time of the year! Creating a wide range of new resources each year keeps us on our toes and working hard to improve our offering year on year.”

– Minnie Campbell, Communications Advisor

To help you get started preparing for October, we’ve published a campaign kit with customisable resources to help you create your own fantastic activities– with much more to come!

This year we’re also relaunching the popular SafeTea campaign with new initiatives and branding, so keep an eye on our website for more information in the coming months - safeworkmonth.swa.gov.au
