New data reporting tools released in December on our data website, Our Data. Your Stories., have now replaced the Lost Time Injury Frequency Rate (LTIFR) calculator.

Safe Work Australia consulted widely on the use of different methods to help users more accurately assess, measure and report data on WHS performance.

While the LTIFR calculator was useful for drawing conclusions about the impact of poor WHS on productivity, there were limitations when it was used in isolation to measure WHS performance.
