Safe Work Australia has released the 2026 National Safe Work Month campaign kit, giving workplaces across Australia practical resources to help promote this year’s campaign and start conversations about work health and safety.

Held each October, National Safe Work Month is an opportunity for workplaces around the country to prioritise safe and healthy work for all. The 2026 theme, Safe work is for life, highlights that WHS is about more than preventing harm in the moment – it is about protecting workers’ lives, health and future.

The campaign kit includes a range of posters, digital signage, social media tiles, activity sheets and customisable resources that workplaces can use to promote the campaign, raise awareness, encourage participation and support local activities throughout October. More resources for workplaces to use during National Safe Work Month will be published in the coming months.

Download the campaign kit and visit the National Safe Work Month website to and check back for new materials as they are released. You can also subscribe to our emails and follow us on social media for the latest National Safe Work Month updates as we take action to reduce serious injuries, illnesses and fatalities in Australian workplaces – for life.
