This research, undertaken by Monash University, was commissioned to inform the review and update of the Taking Action: A best practice framework for the management of psychological claims in the Australian workers’ compensation sector, ensuring it remains contemporary, fit-for-purpose, and aligned with current best practice in psychological claims management.

The report supports Safe Work Australia’s review of the Framework by assessing the extent to which it reflects the latest evidence and contemporary approaches to managing psychological injury claims within the workers’ compensation sector.
