The Model Work Health and Safety Act has been amended by the Parliamentary Counsel’s Committee.
In December 2025, the Model Work Health and Safety Legislation Amendment (Incident Notification) 2025 amended the model WHS Act including:
- clarifying and expanding notification requirements in Part 3 to introduce new notification duties, including extended worker absences, violent incidents and work-related suicide and attempted suicide.
