In March 2024 Safe Work Australia commissioned the Australian Industrial Transformation Institute, Flinders University to undertake a literature review on harmful behaviours in the workplace. The review undertook research on the prevention and management of harmful behaviours such as incivility, bullying, harassment, discrimination and violence. The review also reviewed literature on managing the risks of harmful behaviours to vulnerable workers.

The final report was delivered to Safe Work Australia in June 2024 and will be used to inform policy on harmful behaviours and develop supporting guidance and resources.
