This year we want you to share how you make your workplace healthier and safer for you and your workmates.

Over the coming months, we'll provide you with a collection of resources and campaign materials to help you participate in safety month this October. So we can tell you when we publish safety month information,

We're offering $5000 to the workplace that demonstrates the most outstanding safety month initiative.

This year we want you to show us how you share safety knowledge and build a safe workplace. To enter, run a safety month initiative in your organisation during October then tell us all about it.

We'll announce entry information and terms and conditions over the coming months. So you know what's going on, keep an  eye on this page, sign up to our mailing list (check the “National Safe Work Month” and the “Virtual Seminar Series” checkboxes), and follow our social feeds.

World mental health day

Building a mentally healthy workplace is an essential component to any safety month commitment. For World Mental Health Day on 10 October we will broadcast a seminar that examines the intersection of bullying with work health and safety, fair work and anti-discrimination legislation.
