The National return to work survey was undertaken in April 2016. New Zealand and all Australian jurisdictions (except for the Australian Capital Territory) took part in the 2016 survey.
The survey replaces the Return to work monitor previously published by the Heads of Workers’ Compensation Authorities. The Headline measures report maintains the time series for two key measures previously reported by the Return to work monitor.
This report compares the return to work experience and outcomes of injured workers of premium payers and self-insurers against a number of variables, including returning to work, workplace rehabilitation and employer support.
