Safety Ambassador Kandie Allen-Kelly
Background information
Kandie Allen-Kelly is the CEO of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Kandie has a Bachelor of Social Work and a Master of Philosophy and is an accredited member of the AASW.
Prior to her roles with the AASW, Kandie was a former Head of School of Social Work (ACU) and an academic for many years, a research and project officer, executive coach and organisational consultant.
Why workplace safety is important to me
To raise awareness of the importance of workplace safety to everyone in the organisation and to make them aware of its importance.
My plans for national Safe Work Australia Week
Have a safety themed morning tea, display the Global Handwashing Day poster on 15 October and conduct a 'use the stairs not the lift' program for October.
