Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy 2012-2022
The Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations, Bill Shorten today launched the Australian Work Health and Safety Strategy 2012-2022 (Australian Strategy) at an event at Australian Parliament House in Canberra.
With the vision healthy, safe and productive working lives the Australian Strategy sets a new direction for work health and safety in Australia for the next decade.
The Australian Strategy consists of four outcomes and seven action areas to help achieve the vision. It is aimed at governments, work health and safety regulators industry, unions and other organisations that influence work health and safety and workplaces across Australia.

The event was a dual occasion with the 2012 Safety Ambassador of the Year also announced.
