Are you passionate about work health and safety and want to raise awareness in your workplace? Then register as a Safety Ambassador!  Registered Safety Ambassadors receive exclusive access to an online resource kit that contains a range of tools and information.

Who can be a Safety Ambassador?

It doesn’t matter if you work full time, part time or as a volunteer - as long as you work in Australia and are committed to improving work health and safety you can register as a Safety Ambassador.

Anyone at any level can take on the role of a Safety Ambassador for your workplace. You can be a health and safety representative, the Chief Executive Officer, a worker or a manager.

What is the role of a Safety Ambassador?

Safety Ambassadors raise awareness of work health and safety in their workplace during safety month by organising relevant events and activities, distributing information and communicating key safety messages.

Enter the Safety Month Workplace Participation Reward

Any workplace with a registered 2014 Safety Ambassador is eligible to enter the Safety Month Workplace Participation Reward. The Reward will be awarded to one organisation for outstanding participation in safety month.
