Model Code of Practice - Welding Processes

This model Code of Practice has been developed to provide practical guidance for persons conducting a business or undertaking on how to manage health and safety risks associated with welding. This Code applies to all workplaces covered under the WHS Act applying in a jurisdiction where welding processes are carried out and to all persons involved in these activities.

To have legal effect in a jurisdiction, the model Code of Practice must be approved as a code of practice in that jurisdiction. To determine if this model Code of Practice has been approved as a code of practice in a particular jurisdiction, check with the relevant regulator.

The previous version of this Code is located on the historical versions page.
