"This National Standard sets out the training and assessment requirements for a person performing high risk work, and the arrangements for issuing a licence to a person performing high risk work."

In those jurisdictions that have implemented the harmonised Work Health and Safety (WHS) laws, this Adopted National Standard has been superseded by the model WHS Regulations.
