The National Compliance and Enforcement Policy sets out the approach work health and safety regulators will take to compliance and enforcement under the model Work Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
The National Compliance and Enforcement Policy was endorsed by Safe Work Australia Members on 29 July 2011 and by the Workplace Relations Ministers’ Council on 10 August 2011.
