Safe Work Australia is one of the sponsors of a University of Sydney Business School study to develop and distribute the Health and Safety Information Needs Analysis (HASINA) survey. This survey seeks to identify and understand the current use of work health and safety metrics in Australian organisations. Safe Work Australia has provided expertise on the design of this survey as well as funding to assist with data collection and analysis.
About the survey
Work health and safety measures must be relevant, valid and reliable. If not, they will be of little use in helping us understand and solve work health and safety problems. To ensure users have access to information that is relevant, data providers need to understand the types of questions users have and the decisions they wish to make. The HASINA survey provides you with the opportunity to tell us about the work health and safety questions and decisions that are important to you. These may relate to work health and safety hazards, risks, controls, outcomes or other issues of concern. The feedback supplied by survey participants will provide valuable information to guide the development of relevant, reliable and valid work health and safety information systems. Should you have any questions, or wish to provide more detailed comments, please do not hesitate to contact the project team at HASINA@sia.org.au
